Alvaro Bautista born in Talavera della Reina, on the 21st november 1984.
2004 He is a revelation in the 125 cc World Championship. Where he gains second position on the podium at Donington Park, and on another two occasions in Qatar and Malaysia
2006 He wins the 125 cc World Championship with the Aspar team, thanks to a great season in which he takes 8 victories out of 17 GP’s with a total of 14 podiums
2007 He goes to the 250 cc class as Alex De Angelis’ team mate on board the Aprilia in the Aspar team colours.
He immediately wins two races (in Italy and Portugal) totalling 5 podiums. Despite fractured bones he got during the season, he ends the Championship in fourth position
2008 He continues in the 250 cc class with Héctor Faubel as team mate in the Aspar team. After legendary battles and some misfortunes he comes a close runner up in the Championship
2009 He rides in the 250 cc class in the Aspar team with realistic aspirations for the Championship title
