MTECH, a Company owned by the Mastrotto Group in Arzignano (Vi), was established in 2001 from the idea of transferring to the garment industry, and particularly to biker garments, the high technological standards of Mastrotto leather types.
The activity was started with the manufacture of leather wears for bikers. The following collections consolidated the range of leather products even further by including technical waterproof fabric clothing, as well as other biker accessories.
A young brand, with a technology "giant" backing it up.
Mastrotto Group is indeed a 50-years-old international leader in its industry, and it makes available to MTECH its entire know-how in terms of products, technology and research.
This cooperation results in the manufacture of leather types with special treatments, able to grant extraordinary performances, such as:
MASTROTECH™, a registered trademark, with special additional features of water-repellence, breathability and stain-resistance;
NKP, acronym for "no kangaroo please". A cow leather treated with innovative techniques, with a very high tear and abrasion resistance, having at the same time a specific lightness;
MTECH REFRACTION, a technology that reflects part of the invisible sun rays, reducing the surface temperature of the black exposed leather by 10°C more than normal black leather;
MTECH MASPEL, a technology allowing the coupling of a polyurethane layer to a crust leather, all this through an exclusively water-based finishing process.
In 2004 MTECH enters the world of the speed racing championships.
Among the racers we mention:
Fabrizio Lai, Mike Di Meglio, Julian Simon, Nico Terol, Alex De Angelis, Alex Baldolini, Manuel Poggiali, Chris Burns, James Ellison, Alex Hoffman, Josè Cardoso, Roberto Rolfo, Regis Laconi, Nicolò Canepa, Fabien Foret.
During 2008 the Company reaches a repositioning on the biker garment market with its high-end products, where ergonomy is redesigned as a function of a better fitting.
Brand restyling, innovative management helming the firm, fresh communication strategy, but, especially, a "Collection 2009", with breakthrough style elements and sophisticated details that satisfy the "racing" fans, but also the "touring" and the "feminine" public.
To travel by bike is a multisensory experience.
A collection of colours, images, memories and emotions are the elements that generate the new attitude, the MTECH mood: "move to emotion".
